Full Circle: Status Apparel DC Returns to Temple for the 2026 Football Season
What started as an idea during my time as a student at Temple University has grown into a full-circle opportunity for Status Apparel DC.
This Saturday, September 5, we return to Philadelphia for Temple University's first home football game of the season — this time as an officially licensed Temple University merchandise partner.
From Temple Student to Brand Founder
The idea for Status Apparel DC began while I was a student at Temple University, studying Architectural Design and Historic Preservation.
That idea eventually became a brand built around positivity, purpose, creativity, and community — rooted in the belief that Status is a way of life.
Since launching Status Apparel DC in Washington, DC in 2015, the journey has included countless designs, collections, pop-ups, partnerships, community events, lessons, and challenges. Through all of it, Temple has remained part of the story.
Returning to the university now — not simply as an alumnus, but as the founder of an officially licensed Temple University merchandise partner — is a milestone worth marking.
Bringing the Status Approach to Temple Apparel
Becoming officially licensed has allowed us to bring the Status approach to design and premium apparel to the Temple community. Our licensed collection combines Temple pride with the details that define the Status identity: premium materials, embroidery, original concepts, and pieces designed to work beyond game day.
Alongside our officially licensed products, our broader University Inspired Collection explores campus culture, alumni experience, school pride, and the communities that make universities special.
For us, this is about more than putting a university name on apparel — it's about creating pieces from an authentic connection to the university experience.
Back in Philly for Temple Football
On Saturday, September 5, we're taking the next step in that journey by setting up at Temple's first home football tailgate of the 2026 season.

We'll have a selection of officially licensed Temple University apparel and University Inspired designs available to shop in person before the game. More than that, we're looking forward to reconnecting with fellow alumni, meeting more members of the Temple community, and soaking in another Temple football Saturday in Philadelphia.
A Full-Circle Moment
There's something special about bringing a business back to the place that played a role in its beginning.
I went to Temple as a student with ideas about what I wanted to create and where I wanted my career to go. I couldn't have known exactly where those ideas would lead.
On Saturday September 5th, I get to return as an alumnus, entrepreneur, designer, and licensed merchandise partner.

Full circle — but we're still just getting started.
We look forward to seeing the Temple community in Philly this Saturday, and to continuing to build throughout the football season and beyond.
